मोदी सरकार के सबसे बड़े आर्थिक सुधारों में शामिल गुड्स एंड सर्विस टैक्स (जीएसटी) को लागू हुए एक साल हो गया है। एक जुलाई 2017 को 70 साल पुराने टैक्स स्ट्रक्चर को बदलते हुए सभी (17) तरह के कर खत्म कर दिए और जीएसटी लागू किया गया। सरकार को कम टैक्स वसूली की वजह से राजस्व का नुकसान नहीं हो और जनता पर टैक्स का बोझ नहीं बढ़े, ये जीएसटी के प्रमुख उद्देश्यों में शामिल था। इसे ध्यान में रखते हुए 5%, 12%, 18% और 28% के टैक्स स्लैब बनाए गए। जीएसटी लागू होने के पहले महीने यानी जुलाई 2017 में सरकार को 92,283 करोड़ रुपए का टैक्स कलेक्शन हुआ जो सरकार के 91,000 करोड़ के लक्ष्य से ज्यादा था। इसके बाद हर महीने उतार-चढ़ाव का ट्रेंड दिखा। अप्रैल 2018 में जीएसटी कलेक्शन पहली बार 1 लाख करोड़ के पार पहुंच गया।आज की ताज़ा ख़बरें पढ़ने के लिए दैनिक भास्कर ऍप डाउनलोड करें
