SC lets I-T dept reopen Gandhis’ files

SC allowed I-T dept to proceed against Rahul and Sonia Gandhi by reopening their tax assessments for 2011-12 in connection with National Herald case. SC said it was not possible for it to adjudicate the Gandhis’ plea this month​. Rahul and Sonia had approached the apex court after Delhi high court turned down their plea​.
