SC to take up Ayodhya case on January 4

The list of business for January 4 on the SC website shows the petitions placed for "direction" before a bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, which is unlikely to commence hearing on the vexed issue as the September 27 judgment by a three-judge bench had ruled that it could be adjudicated by a three-judge bench.
