Govt to foot bill for 10% quota in central institutes

The Centre has decided to foot the additional financial requirements for 10% quota for the economically weaker sections among 'forward castes' in centrally funded higher education institutions. The constitutional amendment passed by Parliament states the reservation will be applicable in aided as well as unaided educational institutions.
