Interim Budget may go beyond vote-on-account

"Convention has always been that election year Budget is an interim Budget. The larger interest of the nation dictates what will be a part of the interim Budget," Arun Jaitley said. For a "weak and fragile combination, survival is the priority and policy probably comes very low down in the priority," he said in reference to attempt by opposition parties to come together for the polls.
