UP's 'thain-thain' cop injured in encounter

UP sub-inspector Manoj Kumar, who was seen on a video clip shouting “thain-thain” during an encounter when his gun jammed three months ago, was shot in the hand by a real gun during another encounter on Friday. Kumar’s video remained the most searched on the internet in India for days after the October encounter, and scores of memes followed, putting UP Police in a tight spot.
