The ministry has identified DGP Virendra, ADG (security) Vineet Kumar Goyal, ADG (law and order) Anuj Sharma, commissioner of police (Bidhannagar) Gyanwant Singh and Kolkata Police additional commissioner Supratim Sarkar for action.Similar action is also expected against Kolkata Police chief Rajeev Kumar, against whom disciplinary action has already been sought.
