Fall of an empire: A global dosa startup, with a side of murder

Some credit of dosa's popularity from Madras to Manhattan must be given to Saravana Bhavan whose owner P Rajagopal died on Thursday. The 72-year-old was serving a life sentence for murder. Rajagopal wanted to take a married woman as his third wife but involvement in the murder of the woman's husband not only led to his downfall but shadowed his business as well.
