Thirteen disgruntled MLAs of the ruling Congress-JD(S) alliance in Karnataka tendered their resignations at the speaker's office on July 6. There’s intense speculation that at least 5-6 more MLAs may resign on Monday.If speaker K R Ramesh Kumar accepts the resignations on Tuesday, the coalition will lose majority as its number will plunge to 105 from 118 in the 224-member assembly.
