Taj Mahal shuts down amid coronavirus fear

In an unprecedented move, all Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) protected monuments, including Taj Mahal, which was last shut down during the Indo-Pak war in 1971 and before that during the World War II in 1942, were closed for public across the country in a bid to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
