11 killed in pre-dawn disaster as gas leaks at Vizag plant

In a pre-dawn disaster, at least 11 people, including two minors, were killed and hundreds of others fell sick when styrene vapours leaked from a chemical plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam on Thursday. The condition of 22 people, including 10 children, is said to be critical. Officials feared that the toll may go up. The state govt evacuated 10,000 people.
