Covid-19: India cases 3k-plus 2 days in a row

States across India reported over 3,000 new Covid-19 cases for the second day running as the country’s corona count raced past 55,000 on Thursday, taking just four days to reach that number after crossing 40,000 on May 3. As per the latest data, more than 16,600 people have recovered from Covid-19 across the country which is nearly 30% of the total cases so far.
