Cash-strapped AI cuts cheese for premium flyers

Cash-strapped Air India is halving the quantity of cheese board carried for premium passengers on international flights and has cut down its catering cost by Rs 2.5 crore. This is part of the airline's elaborate cost-cutting exercise amid mounting operational expenses and no clarity on government's promised fund infusion.
