CBI arrests its deputy SP in bribery case

CBI on Monday arrested Devender Kumar, deputy superintendent of police in Rakesh Asthana-led Special Investigation Team (SIT), even as the agency failed to recover any bribe amount out of Rs 3 crore allegedly paid by the complainant – Sathish Babu Sana. The agency also searched Kumar's office at CBI headquarters.
