A letter to health minister J P Nadda signed by 34 patients or family members raised several concerns about the compensation process and sought his intervention to uphold the rights of the patients “instead of the interests of J&J”. The letter said the patients had grave concerns about “whether the committee will be fair, just, equitable and reasonable in determining compensation”.
