Bengal violence: Centre expresses 'deep concern'

Expressing “deep concern” at the continuing political violence in West Bengal, the home ministry issued an advisory to the state government on Sunday seeking all necessary measures to maintain law and order and tranquility. The advisory comes in the wake of reports of four people being killed on Saturday in post-poll clashes at Bhangipara, Hatgacha in North 24 Parganas district.
