Cyclone Vayu not likely to make landfall on Gujarat coast: Key points

As per the MeT department, the cyclone has changed course and will not have a major impact on the Saurashtra coast, as of now. Over 2.81 lakh people have been evacuated, 2,000 shelter homes have been prepared, over 500 villages are affected, 10,000 tourists shifted from various tourist spots, 15 trains have been cancelled and operations at four airports have been shut.
