3,200 ceasefire violations in 2019: LoC hostilities with Pak at 15-yr high

India has recorded as many as 3,200 ceasefire violations along the LoC with Pakistan this year, with the two rival armies continuing to pound each other with heavy-caliber weapons like artillery guns and anti-tank guided missiles on a daily basis. The exchange of firing across the LoC further escalated after the revocation of Article 370 on August 5.
