Chandrayaan-3 likely to be launched in 2020: Govt

In the first official confirmation on Chandrayaan-3, Union minister for department of space Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said the second lander mission to Moon will be a "cost-effective mission and most likely be launched in 2020". "The orbiter is already there (on the Moon's orbit and functional). So we are going to be cutting on cost. It will carry only a lander mission." said Singh.
