'Unless someone is to be hanged': CJI changes rules for urgent hearing

"Unless someone is going to be hanged today or evicted out of his house, no other matter can be mentioned for urgent hearing," Justice Ranjan Gogoi said soon after taking oath as the 46th Chief Justice of India. "We will work out the parameters then we will see as to how mentioning will be done," he added.
