No plan for education loan waiver: Government

The government on Monday said that was no proposal for a waiver of educational loans, even as there is a growing clamour for one. With rising unemployment at a time when the country is witnessing unprecedented economic slowdown, the clamour for waiver of outstanding dues from borrowers of educational loans is rising.
